Gerard has just start to film in Detroit with continuation in South Africa.
The actor told:

"But if it's an interesting project, I take it."

"This is not a big, flashy project."
He won't be paid a lot for that project,bu it seems he doesn't care actually about the amount at this point.

The movie is based on the life story told in the book Another Man's War: The True Story Of One Man's Battle To Save Children In The Sudan.
Butler is going to be a drug dealer, who understood the truth and the real sense in life and became a crusader for people and many children in Sudan. from the scary villain to a honest person that is saving innocent children.

What do we know about Africa and what is really going on there... not much. The story is opening our eyes on the situation around us.

Gerard Butler is really cutting his pay for that movie as the most important is the story behind it.

"I'm producing this one as well. I'm sure I'm getting 10 cents for doing it." told Butler
